Another quick pop-in to say hi! Yesterday we pigged out on some dim sum and went over to Baker Beach. Nathan and I had never been there before and it was beautiful! Except for the naked man walking around trying to get into everyone’s pictures.. Luckily mine made it out crack free 😉

I’ve had some catching up to do of my own on all of the great blog posts around the interwebs from last week and in case you missed some too, here ya go!

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working with some of my Truve-rs to put together some fun specials and cross promote each other. We’re all running our own businesses so we’re also in the business of helping each other to grow our own networks and further our reach.

Most recently, I’ve been chatting with the nutritionist on staff and am pretty excited to share in the near future what we have in store. There will definitely be some changes to my diet that I’m going to be writing about. It’s going to be an interesting experiment.. especially when I made chicken bacon fra diavolo for dinner last night. Any ideas what it might be? 😉

It’s strange to me to think that last week was 2014. Even more strange that it’s 2015.. I’m still trying to figure out where the year went! Anywho, I went into yesterday being super pumped that I was going to get up for my 6:30 a.m. shift at the store, work 8 hours, and then hit the gym to get in my 30 minutes. I have to tell you, by the time the end of my shift rolled around and I still had more to do, I decided the gym wasn’t happening. That said, there was a lot of lifting boxes and fast-paced moving at work, so I’m going to count that!

I also made a one-pot paprika chicken for dinner that came out really well! It didn’t look as pretty as the pictures from the recipe and it wasn’t anything that was out-of-this-world crazy or fancy, but it was just darn tasty. I did change it up a little by roasting some potatoes on the side instead of adding them into the pot.. crispy is always better, am I right? Welp, onto Tuesday.. 🙂

I feel like I’ve hardly been on the interwebs at all since I got home so this post was a fun one. I usually have a bunch of posts that I share and add to my link love post throughout the week, but this time I had a bit of catching up to do! Apparently I’ve unintentionally decided to take a little social media detox and I think it’s a good thing. I’m loving all of the family time and I’m happy to put my computer and phone down to soak it all in. I hope you’ve had the chance over the holiday to do the same.

Yesterday. Was. Great. I slept like a freaking rock and had a nice, relaxing morning.. didn’t even eat breakfast until 11! I also took a trip to Wegmans with my parents. We bought almost the entire store haha! And the best part of my day was going to visit my grandparents and my little Jilly bean. They were quick visits but it was so nice to see them all again and I’m looking forward to getting to spend more time with everyone over the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any pictures, but I’m hoping to have plenty after Thanksgiving! And with that, back to family time.. enjoy the links!
